Who we are

This website is run by Greenwick AU (ABN 40 911 899 786), based in Sydney, New South Wales. In these terms, we, us and our mean Greenwick AU. By using the website or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

These terms do not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our products

We sell hand-poured soy and coconut wax candles and soy and palm wax melts, each named for a room in the Greenwick estate. We take care to describe and photograph them accurately. Colours can look different on different screens, a scent is experienced differently by different people, and because every candle is poured by hand, small variations in the finish of the wax surface are normal.

Placing an order

When you place an order we will email you a confirmation. That email is not our acceptance of your order. We accept it when we dispatch it. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item has run out, there is an error in a price or description, or payment fails. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars. Shipping is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is handled by Shopify and its payment partners. We do not see or store your full card details.

Our shipping and returns and refunds pages are part of these terms.

Using candles and melts safely

A candle is an open flame and a wax melt is heated in a warmer. Please follow our care instructions: burning a candle safely and using wax melts safely.

The waitlist

If you claim a room, we will email you about it, and only about Greenwick. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. See our privacy page for how we handle your details.

Our website and brand

The words, photographs, illustrations, wordmark and moth on this website belong to Greenwick AU. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please do not copy or reuse anything else without asking us first.

Using the website

Please do not use the website unlawfully, try to interfere with it or its security, or use automated tools in a way that burdens it.

Other companies

Checkout and payment are provided by Shopify, and delivery by Australia Post. Their own terms apply to the parts of the service they provide.

Our responsibility

We take care to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on the website when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
